15 Minute Consultation

This is a FREE 15 minute consultation with a Psychologist, to answer your questions and help direct you to what you need.

Gifted Assessment

This assessment tests intellectual functioning (gives an IQ score) for application to a gifted program (Westmount or GATE) or to have an IPP at your child's current school.

Parent intake, child testing, and feedback sessions are typically completed in 1 day; payment ($600) is due on the day of the assessment. However, you can choose separate dates for intake, testing, and feedback if needed.

Psycho-educational Assessment

For a complete Psycho-educational assessment, please ensure you book steps 1-4 of the following sessions. The debrief session may be booked a minimum of three weeks AFTER all your child's testing is complete. You have the choice of Online OR In-person for the parent meetings. Please note: The fee for a comprehensive assessment is $2750: a half-payment ($1375) is due during the initial pare... Read More

My name is Nichola Cross, and I am a Registered Psychologist working with children, teens, and adults in the Calgary area. I complete a variety of comprehensive assessments to help you or your child understand your learning profile and provide strategies to set you up for success. My aim is to help you expand your knowledge, capitalize on your strengths, and provide evidence-based strategies to support your growth at school, work, and/ or approaching new tasks.

I earned my Master’s Degree in School and Applied Child Psychology from the University of Calgary, and I am a registered member with the College of Alberta Psychologists and the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta. Before starting my own private practice, I worked for 4 years in a setting that specialized in LDs & ADHD, while also serving a specialized school. Additionally, I have worked for other private practices, and for several years within a school board where I supported students with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities with comorbid disorders. I’m always honoured when asked to partner with individuals to put all the pieces of the puzzle together to help enhance your success! I look forward to meeting you!
